The restaurant
An intimate place, nestled among woods and vineyards, where Antonia Klugmann’s cuisine tells the story of the territory in continuous dialogue with the landscape.
Two very bright dining rooms, with large windows that connect the interior of the restaurant with the surrounding countryside. The main room, overlooking the garden, allows guests to observe the kitchen brigade at work through a window. The second, more intimate room opens onto the vineyards.

Antonia Klugmann's cuisine stems from an attentive and responsible approach to ingredients.
Each dish is conceived as part of a journey, an invitation to listen to the territory and be guided by a sensibility that places the ingredient and taste at its center.
The territory
L'Argine a Vencò is surrounded by the Judrio River, which traditionally separates Collio Goriziano from the Colli Orientali del Friuli.
A landscape that with its hills covered with woods and vineyards is an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

Staying in Vencò
The rooms are located in a 1650 agricultural building, witness to the history of this border territory. Originally built as a grain storage facility, it became a powder magazine during World War I.
The 2023 conservative restoration respected its rural soul. The exposed stone façade has been preserved and the interiors still follow the original spaces and openings.
